Farewell to 2004!!!
well guys, once again we are stepping into another year and everyone's hoping and wishing that it would be a great start all refreshed! everyone is happily waiting for the countdown to a start of a brand new life. for the gals, i think they are abit worry, they are 1 year OLDER!! haha..
but just before we step forward, lets recall about what has happened in life. 4 years ago, we began to have 2 new tv channels, that is channel u and channel i. at the end of this year, the media decides to merge and there is no more mediaworks, and therefore, channel u goes under mediacorp. many disasters came uninvited and unpreventable, for instance SARS. The government trying to encourage couples to make lots of babies to prevent the ageing population. SMRT has a new line, the purple colour North-East line!!! but before this, SLRT has already been widely used in Bukit Panjang looping in the area. Gaobot virus and trojan horses were let running wild infecting lots of PCs. my aunt got married on my Birthday - April 18 - followed by my cousin, and another cousin of mine died in the fire which was reported in the news. i've been staying in Telok Blangah for nearly1yr and 2mths, got posted to Republic poly and met lotsa great friends in school, my neighbour got a new born grandson, cute and adorable, and lastly, i created this blog... with lots of editing with it, tt's how my blog grows like we do..
no matter what had happened, whether pleasent or unpleasent, we still have to live life as usual, time won't revese neither is it possible to "replay" ur life like what you did in games where you safe it and then load it when you made the wrong move hoping that you could change the result.
Merging of the 2 stations
speaking of merging, the actors and actress of channel u would still be actin, just that they collect their pay from mediacorp and they might be acting with the current channel 8 actors. as for channel i, well, they imports foriegn movies and therefore, no actors to worry about. it would be gone for good due to the low rates of viewers.
i heard the Dongli 88.3fm Dj disscussing about this merging and gave her opinion that the actors in mediaworks were much friendly then those in mediacorp. well, i sort of agree to that statement too. i did not notice about it at 1st but it was true, actors in mediaworks has got more chance to mix around with the crowd when shooting. and most of their own shows were outdoor variety shows. for dramas, either they import from hongkong or they collaborate with them. looks like being a "not that rich" company has it benefits too, but it was also because they were financially in trouble, they have to merge. well, atleast they have obtain success!
compare to 4 years ago, i don't even want's to switch my station to channel u as thier show were completely cmi (cannot make it!). their programes were repeating non stop and the same episode could keep playing for twice a day. but comapred to now, they have got more and more supporters! the show “零楼 ” (ling lou) aka zero level has a much better story plot and it's idea has greatly surpass the standard of channel 8. perhaps people get bored to the usual actors and actoress in channel 8?
channel u have got better Korean, Hong Kong and Taiwan drama compared to channel 8

toking about tt kiddy - my neighbour's grandson - his cute and funny. but he doesn't seems to like me as much as liking my mum.. lolx!! hmm.. he's now few mths old, getting closer to 1 year older after tml (^_^)
this cute guy, he's change of emotion couldn't be faster then anyone else! 1 second he's smiling and the other second, he cries..
he would be at the verge of tears everytime u lie him down on the floor, giving the the type of hopless face as he's afraid to sit back up from the ground. "ehhhg! ehhhg ehhhg!", he starts to cry for help.. lolx!! but for today, he gets smarter and bravier! dying to noe why i said tt? read on..
today, he's parents sacked their maid. someone in their house probably was afraid that the maid would threaten them with the baby like wadz always being seen on tv, so they brought this kid to our house, by the way, his grandma always carry him along when she came to chat with my mom, almost every evening.. haha!
it was almost noon and my mom was preparing for the lunch, no choice but i got to look after this kid and pevents him from crawling around. he screamed whenever i carried him, wait a minute, am i tt scarry? ok.. back to the topic, i put him down to the floor and he kept crawling to the kitchen no matter how many umpteen times i brought him back to the living room. lolx! my mum got no choice, she left her work and went to entertain this small lil' guy. to keep him from crawling around, my mom lied him down. surprisingly, he actually manage to get back on his feet!! haha!!
after today, i partly realised about how difficult issit to look after a child, i sacrisfied watching TV!! haha!! why i said partly? well.. cos i haven tried coaxing him to slp at night and never handle him with the diapers.. wahahaah!!
hmm.. being a father is not easy, neither issit ez to be a husband.. they say.. "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility".. now you could guess who i am? yeah.. Spiderman!! aka "shi bai de man" (失败的 man) wahahahaha!!

MediaCorp cancels 'live' telecast of The Nation's Countdown on Channel 5
Countdown 2005 "live" telecast at Sentosa has been cancelled as a mark of respect for the victims of the Asian tsunami tragedy. the tragedy was a saddening news infact, but certainly not EVERYONE was sad rite? others at home would have been dissapointed to miss out all those fun they are having at Sentosa! No more celebration at home? this event is only held once per year but now they are actually calling off the "live" telecast.
well they claimed that they did this due to the mishap? then why didn't they just put off everything and refund for the tickets? instead, they have decided to celebrate and have all those fun among themself? UNREASONABLE!!! there is a one-minute silence which would be observed at the event to mourn the victims of the disaster. don't u think that, mourning for 1 minute and having fun right after, this session is really contradicting?
and also, if they could mourn at Sentosa, why not they just include the mourning part in the "live" telecast as well? is there any difference? besides they only planned to broadcast it in Channel 5, others who do not wish to watch could just simply tune to another station/channel.
another alternative is that, they could postpone the broadcast to perhaps 1 week later? anyway Chinese New Year will still be celebrating without fail right?
Global Warming - End Of The World? 世界末日？
recently more and more incidents are happening be it natural or human caused, is tt a sympton of the end of the world? sometime ago we had land slide in Malaysia and a tour bus slide off on the way, Singapore Airlines plane crash, SARS, Iraq war, Terrorism, and now, it's Tsunami.. death occoured in each of the above mentioned and the number of lives taken IS actually increasing in each new incident!! so wad would be next? something that would cause more death then the tsunami? perhaps forest fire across the whole earth spreading out real fast?
some pictures of what global warming has done:
1 thing I’m sure about global warming is that the earth’s temperature is increasing, and this explains why Singapore is hotter then before. Tsunami could be one of the “product” of global warming. Some other disaster would follow up due to global warming might be expansion of the ground aka earthquake, which would be leading to another tsunami, volcanic eruption, melting of the polar ice caps, and forest fire as the dry twigs get heated up and eventually evoke sparks. The rise of sea level which causes the flooding of land that is plotted in “The Day After Tomorrow” might one day happen to this world too... not surprising! I didn’t watch this movie so I don’t exactly know how the ending is like. But when this really happens to us, the ending would only be bad. Don’t expect Batman or Superman coming to your rescue.
So Life's A Game? YES!
people said life is a game, possibly a RPG game. every character in this game has his turn to die, no matter how strong he is. if we are the characters in this game of life, who would possibly be the player who manipulate our activities? probably the gods? erm.. i did not specify which god it is, neither did i say this is the god people worships, it's just the whoeva that might or might not exist. no offence here ok? well, in every game, there are different stages and before entering the next stage, u have to end the current stage. there is a short story playing everytime 1 stage is completed just like Diablo, Final Fantasy and so on.
if what i had just mentioned is true, then the Jurassic Era where dinosaurs were alive would be the beginning stage of this game, after the gods have completed this game, stories were formed, saying how this dinosures got extinct. So what are the weapons god used to kill dinosaure? the hot rocks which clashes on earth in the universe?
2nd stage, part 1, Human Mutation:
this is probaply the stage with the mission to transform monkeys and king kongs into human?
2nd stage, part 2, Breed More Humands:
this stage would be the objective to reproduce more humans? get them living together and include functions like "War Enable/Disable" in the "Options" menu for the level of fun and blood? hmm.. sounds like "Sims City"?
how do you end 2nd stage? well, probably by Global Warming! just like the Jurassic Era, you kill every single living things but kept some organisms or virus for the transformation into brand new species in the new begining of 3rd stage?
maybe this is the stage that aliens come into the game!
this game sounds real fun huh? we are in the middle, both pawns and players. the god played us, we played computer games. just like the characters in the games, our traits and charecteristics are customize by god. every character has got a limited of points to increase their strength, intelligence, dexterity and so on after they leveled up. different god would increse different traits and this also explains why human is NOT perfect and no matter what, people will not have the same attitude, characters and so on. twins probably exist in a 2 player game.
games we played were categorized by their different objective, for example, "Diablo", it's objective is to kill monsters, for "Fallout", it's objective is to go around helping people, getting new live, kill people, and for "Star Craft", it's objective is to conquere the land. However, the god's game is a All-in-one. we kill, we conqure, we discover, we learn...
if i had a chance to produce my own game, this would be it!

noticed i kept mentioning about "Teens" magazine? yes! tt's where the source of this post came from. often saw lots of readers, both guys and girls asking about pregnancy and AIDS in the "sex+body" section. many girls were engaging in sex and this includes oral sex as well, problem is that they are only 16 to 18 of age! is this a legal age to have sex? i tot gals legal age is around 20? guys are 18 if i'm not wrong, and gals are deffintely older! i can't imagine gals having oral sex actually, are they being force emotionaly or physically? *wondering* isn't it disgusting to swallow?
since guys nowadays get contact with porn at a younger age (below 21), is this why underage sex occurs? due to the urge for such fantasies?
adults does not have enough knowledge on sex, BUT DEFINETLY MORE THEN A teen! or else readers woudn't be writing to experts asking so much about pregnancy and AIDS and so on after regretting for their moment of foolishness.

Tsunami kills!!!!
just now heard about this great tidal wave caused by the disasterous earthquake in Indonesia, it lighted up the curiosity within, heard this news about the earthquake yesterday but i did not give damn to it at first till i realised that it killed more then 10,000 people. what's more interesting is that this enormous wave occur due to the earthquake. it's surprising to me.. *ooooh..*
A tsunami, or Tidal wave, is made up of a series of travelling ocean waves of extremely long wavelength. They are triggered by large disturbances such as earthquakes, undersea volcanic eruptions or deep sea landslides.
let me futher elaborate on how it's formed *according to my own understanding* :
this disaster affecting the Asia is caused by the earthquake in Indonesia, the land beneth the sea cracks and large amount of force is created from this process. the amplitude, trough and crest of a tsunami wave is in relation to the sea floor and still water level. this huge energy is transfered from the land to the sea and causes a large difference in amplitude, i.e. the wave shape changes as the height of the land increases when it approaches the coastline. it's wave is able to travel more then 2,000km and goes to the height of 3meters or more.

The tsunami has been taking lives away from lotsa people living in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and so on.. i've found the death toll as at today's morning, Dec 27 at 10am:

Maldives: 32
Bangladesh: 2
Myanmar: 1
Total: 16,147
the news reported that the number of death will still be increasing and currently, at 11:43pm, it has outreached to more then 20,000 lives till now.
hmm.. come to think of it.. 3meters of tidal wave is like.. slightly higher then ur ceiling.. *imagining* woooa... tt was high....
by the way, i only watch the news once in a blue moon and only when the news really do interest me.. this tidal wave must be damn cool eh? the news at 10pm took 30mins to report on it.
from a usual point of view, ppl see this wave as danger, treat, crisis. but i see this wave itself also beautiful, i regard it as a phenomanon although also a disaster. it "activated" the villagers to show their care and concern for one another and well, teamwork is shown!

well... my cousin was addicted to maple tree and her mum somehow forbaded her from going on9. well.. i exaggarated? okok.. she's in the middle of somewhere in Maple Story and is omoz completing. she doesn't wans tt game to affect her study so she hopes to finish it as soon as possible. so i surmise that probably she has been staring at the computer glued to the game for hours and this could have provoked her mum, which led to the forbiddance of using the computer.
she told me tt she can't slp cos she had been thinking of it the whole night... i had no idea how long does that last though.. but this is considered an addiction, yeah?
hmm.. i personally think that addiction can be overcomed and everyone agrees with this statement, i supposed. but how many ppl actually apply it? or rather, apply it well!
it might be easier for someone to stop the addiction by own rather then being restricted by anyone, rite? be it sex addiciton, games addiction, drugs addiction, wadeva! if he/she was restricted by someone instead of self-controlled, the addiction just won't get out of the mind.
well.. one must be determined to kick the addiciton! easier said then done? Yeah!
1 thing you could try is to engage urself in some other activities and Don't force urself not to think of it, becoz the more u do so, the more u are actually thinking of it indirectly.. make sense? it sure does!

OhMiGoad! guess wad? my dad brought back lots of junk from my granny's hse.. i don't know how on earth hello kittes get into my grandma's hse btw. what do you call hello kitty key chains, small, plastic hello kitty coin bank, not really fragrance hello kitty perfume and some useless unknow hello kitty box containing small beads of blocks? well, i call them junk! these stuff are really for babies, i would say. not even a 3yr old gal would want them. but i don't know why the fuck my dad bring them back home for. he even washed them for hours, i presumed. those stuff wasn't useful, duerable, and what's much worst is that those plastic has already turned yellow.. :S it wasn't plaesent to the eye at all. oh ya, that perfume i mentioned, i would say it does give off smell better, in the sense of more efficient, then some other air-fresheners in the market for cars or toilets. the smell wasn't that fragrance, although not at all pungent, it was damn strong, 1 sniff was ok, but u would probably vomit it u smell it constanly for 5mins! it produced smell that makes u puke and lost appetite... my dad placed it in the masterbed room.. :S i'm wondering how can he slp with that disgusting stuff.. i doubt the Garang Guni would want it.

JUST AS I WAS BLOGGING HALF-WAY...
Shit! i went to the toilet and did not noticed that my mum was repairing the tap (and she did not remind me!!), she has turn off the water supply. i used the toilet. fark, no water...
no choice, i washed my hands with water collected in a pail from a spoiled tap in the toilet. the tap always continue to drip with water a few seconds after the tap was turned OFF without fail. after i washed my hands from that pail of water, i tot it was clean, but certainly NOT cleaner then tap water, so i actually smelled it.. damn, guess wat? worst then i tot.. there is the smell of detergent powder. my mum's the culprit, she just wash those clothes..
And toking about dirty water..
no idea why, from yesterday's night, i had been drinking water that carry the taste of rubber.. yeah, i ment RUBBER! try putting a rubber band in ur mouth and chew it! the rubber band would taste better then the water i'm drinking! as usual, the water is from the tap.. i'm a weirdo who supports the government and had full confidence with Singapore's water supply! i tot it was my cup that might be dirty so i went to wash it with lots of detergent. great! the taste is gone for awhile.. damn.. it's back after tt while..
similarly, i tried to get the water from different tap, it taste no different.. so whats the problem with me?

GHOST!!!
this morning had i had a freaking strange dream spoiled by 3 nuisance caller... 2 calls from human and a call from ghost.. i guess.. *gasp* erm.. not really spoiled though, i wouldn't wan to continue tt dream :S
interpreting my dream (although cant remember totally, juz bits from here and there): it's haunted and erotica.. erm.. i mentioned "erotica"? ok.. i did.. but but but, THINK STRAIGHT! ok, look... it's utterly indescribable. let me explain 1 by 1..
this dream is rather funny... the dream appears to be scarry.. can u imagine ppl with plastic face? yes! i repeat, PLASTIC! the face is shiny and hard, hey, scarry.. and "my frends" (i dun really know them in reality though, and i CERTAINLY dun think they exist! urm... does tt means i have imaginary frens?) had this "make-up kit" that could turn their face from plastic to a face without nose, eyes, mouth and so on, in other words, faceless... it really seems quite scarry in my dreams... and why do i sae it's erotica? well.. there is this mag that comes with this kit and it features a lot of face u could get. i can't get it why i happened to flip to a page where the models were nude.. erm.. female models. it's just like a normal magazine, although it's for the, "ghost"? but it shouldn't include porn, right? are you wondering about what's in my mind? HELLO! wake up ur idea! i ain't a PERVERT!

i loathe (it's not love, although it sounds like.. it the opposite!) CD's can cassettes ever since i bought the 1st cassette in my primary school days and that was my 1st and the last cassette. i just can't listen to that meager amount of songs found in that particular cassette for hours again and again. sooner or later i would get bored of it.. it's the same that is applied to CDs, isn't it?
tt's mainly why i do not want to own a mp3 player.. i'll juz get bored of the recurring music real soon..
look's like the final source of mucis in my life is the radio and sometimes, the tv..

yes! it's the eve of Christmas.. i isn't abit excited at all, instead i'm bored to death.. spending my 18th year of christmas AT HOME again!! all alone.. athough every single family members are at home with me, but i felt alone.. where's tt joy of christmas anyway?
my frens were spending Christmas the same, either with frens (except me) or with their family (unlike me; i'm just like spending everyday with my family... anything special? nah..)
i tot ppl are exchanging presents? so where's mine? i'm forgotten? perhaps..

YES! but it is DEFFINETLY NOT detailed! looks like we don't seem to be knowing our a friends here well enough.. they just live with us here, on EARTH!! head down to the zoo one day or something.

drawing of any animal is easy if you are good in drawing, but a close-up of the head is not as easy as you think... who would actually care to take a good look at those heads out there in the zoo?

Blogs! Bloggers! Wad The Hell?
hmm.. noticed some controversial blogs today, ever since i was "introduced" to xiaxue's blog. this blog has been nominated in the Best Journal/Diary!! well, she's a 19 or 20 year old female blogger who self-described as a BIATCH! her hits counter reached an average visit of 2000 - 3000 visitors DAILY! i.e. every day there will be an average of 2000 to 3000 ppl visiting her blog. not surprising, some hated her and others like her as well. it's the way she blogs. she has an account in frienster and someone else actually uses her identity to create other accounts insult her. words like c*ck and v*agi*a were used. Mr. Annoymous even said she killed someone. but what is it that causes this girl to be the BEST blogger? she had been interviewed by lotsa media, in Hong Kong, Singapore and so on.. and now, she's even a columnist of MAXIM, a magazine for the guys!
if you wanna compare her blog with mine or a lot others:
Hers: more then 2000 visitors per day
Others: hardly 20
Hers: atleast 10 people would comment on her individual post and they were long! (this means that they really read the post and gave comments of what they really feel)
Others: some did not add a link for comments, some can't even reach 3 (except for thoes who treated "comments" as a place to chat), as for mine... mostly 0, sometimes max 1...
Hers: post of what she thinks instead of what she did through out the day.
Others: elaborating on what they do everyday, if not juz give a summary of what they do. totally meaningless. i would sae they post it for the sake of posting?
so what's so special in her blog? her post's length were more then 1000 words and she blogs daily. her readers ranges from locals to oversea foreigners. she claimed that her IQ was higher then the others and her PSLE score was 269. 1 think i gotta agree is that her english was real good. she made her post sounded bitchy but it really does show her straight-forwardness in it with nothing reserved.

ytd 6am den slp today 1.30am wake up liao. mom spoiled my dreams at 12pm telling me that shi wei (my fren) wan me to bring him and his cousin from malaysia to Queensway shopping center to look for a soccer ball which wasn't available in malaysia. after hearing it i went back to slp. met them at 3pm after my lunch at redhill mrt station. his cousin's name is Ji Guan, 1st time i'm able to remember someone's name in the 1st meeting so well.. lolx.. went to Queensway and saw those police there for the anti-terrorist purpose. this was the 1st time i saw them, n i nv expected them to b in places like queensway.. haha!! but they din take tt rifle, wad a pity.. this was the 1st time i went in to so many shops in queensway shooping center, especially shops selling sports stuff. saw a shop selling comics figurine, those collective items. i think their handcraft skill were real good as those small little thinggy were well created. their every actions seem so real. now then i noticed that queensway shopping center only got escalator going up and stairs for coming.. strange and unique.. walk around for sometime then went to the opposite side (Anchor Point) the physical appearance was newer then queensway shopping center but the shops inside was really cmi (cannot make it!) the building seems tall but only 2 levels for shoppers to shop. the levels on top can't even go up. stay there for juz a short while, only walking around the levels and tt's it.. --" den went to another opposite side, which is IKEA. erm.. perhaps it's strange y 3 guys at the age of 18 is going to IKEA - a shop selling furnitures and stuff. are we moving out? 3 gays forming a house of our own? Siao! we juz went there walk walk lar.. but saw lotsa beds, chairs, sofa and stuff.. our instinct told us to sit down and take a rest.. woooooo... they are so comfortable... we started moving ard and "testing" the different beds, chairs and etc.. dun even feel like moving on anymore.. haha!! we have tested omoz every single furniture and if u need any comments or advice, come ask me! lolx!! the model of a living room, bed rooms and what ever was cool.. it was so comfortable.. the colours were matching too. they even made a false window to make the room seem new. i hope tt in the future i would get such home of my own. saw the total price of each room were around $1000++++ wah.. expensive.. but compared to a sofa we saw some tim ago, the room was so cheap!!!! the sofa alone causes more then $1.5k liao but this whole room consit of cupboard, sofa, tables and so on.. but if u actually add up the cost of all furnitures of a new 4 room flat, it sure cost more then $8k.. expensie.. we spent more then 2 hours at IKEA, i guess.. we were discussin' abt the pronouciation of IKEA and suggestion like e-kia and e-kier came out, so the smartest choice is to come out with a all new and best pronounciation of it, that is I-kay-e-ay(I-K-E-A): IKAYEH!!! hahaha!! abit lame? erm.. -_-" next stop was Tiong Bahru. too long nv go queensway liao was abit lost. forgotten where to take bus 195 and i thought was at the bus stop infront of Bukit Merah SAFRA so crossed the road, then found out the bus din go there.. uh-oh.. instint told me the bus turn out from stirling road so i suggested walking all the way back to that bustop, it was a long way though. ooops.. wrong bustop again.. but got 123, do u think i'll take bus 123? well.. no! tt bus goes to queenstown all the way up to forget where liao then turn to orchard b4 reaching tiong bahru.. took the long jurney just to go to somewhere near? mom called just in time and told me it was actually the bus stop opposite Alexandra Hospital... -_-" walk back there again.. finally board the bus and we moved on! reached tiong bahru plaza liao, saw the popeye performance, again, it's for christmas purpose.. went to the gents and saw that they actually renovated the toilets. it is really cleaner and nicer now. the floor was wet and dirty with toilet papers ard in the past and i hated those toilets. there were some new shops and they opened a long john silver there. we went in to a shop selling sports stuff and i tred on a few pairs of sun glasses, looked into the mirror and i think i look good and the price was reasonable, guess what? u think i bought it? uh-uh.. i dun really like wear sun glasses ard though. soon, we went up to the roof top after exploring the bottom floor. a restaurant had transformed the rooftop from a place for smokers especially ah beng and ah lians who patronise the arcards to an open-air restaurant. the atmosphere was cool especially in the nite. it was very breezy. rooftop open-air restaurant.. wow.. felt great! there is still a small area "researved" for smokers though. last time i really felt that it was a waste to ppl smoke at such a beautiful rooftop with fantastic scenery. we sat down and chated for sometime, infact, this was the only period i really tok to Ji Guan.. haha!! too bad there wasn't any stars as the sky was overcasted. however we saw lots of planes flying by.. chated till around 8.30pm and we hope in to Mac for sundae b4 leaving. brought them to the bus stop near my hse as my mum wanted to pass them some cakes and they left home soon after.. took some photos and they will be posted ontop once received.

ytd night slept at 5am cos i was doing the template of my new blog, yes i'm doing a new blog. today woke up ard 12pm went for archery training with xiao ke, felt quite uncomfortable in the 1st half an hour as my heart was pumping very hard and was difficult for me to catch my breath. dunno y i got this prob since young, went to c doc b4 but he sae i'm ok. even when i sitting down playing some computer games my heart oso can pump so fast, so hard. u could even c my shirt quake. in archery, u have to controll the movement and follow the pace of ur breath. since i had difficulty in breathing, obvious my arrows were flying in all direction... -_-" only after sometime den my heart went back to normal. i was breathing so loudly.. god.. there will be an archery competition in january next year.. still not sure if i'm taking part in. after archery training went to HarbourFront alone. it was better compared to the time they just built it. it is livelier now.. i think it was because of christmas and the new north-east line. the atmosphere was good. however the 2nd storey and above were dissapointing.. the shops is like so sian.. all selling furniture, if not, they are place for eating. went down to the pier to enjoy some breeze.. cool.. saw the scenenry, quite nice. saw Sentosa and the monorail was passing by, so slow like a caterpillar.. haha!! stayed there for quiet a while b4 i left.

To those bloggers out there... and everyone hu knows me.. :D
i had been searching for blogs in Yahoo for the past few days trying to look for nice blogs and insirations for my own blog.. tag a lot of advices and suggestion on how they can improve on their blog and being nosey ard looking at their post.. lolx.. i guess, only in blog, a person could show how he/she really feels compared to in sms, msn, irc and so on... to really understand a person, u gotta go to their blog. a blog means an online diary rite? and also speaking to people you don't know probably is a lot easier and much comfortable as there isn't anything to hide... at the same time, i had been learning the different codes for the effects like making ur blog snow, anti-right click and so on... effects used in their blogs. understand how they are used.. i guess i juz have the interest there be it for java, html or even vb codes.. lolx!! i'm juz interested in programming... hmm.. hahahah!!! oh ya.. if u need help in the codes let me know.. i've got some with me.. ;)

ytd 4am den slp, today suppose to wake up at 9am go for my hair cut at my aunt's shop.. too tired liao can't wake up, slept till 12pm liddat.. took my lunch and went there right after... as usual, free haircut must wait till there are no customer at all den my turn. usually there wasn't any customer wan lar, i go there sure straight away cut de, but today i reached there got 1 aunty cutting half way liao, my aunt told me that aunty used to play with me when i'm young... i dun have any impression about it anyway... nvm, i wait for my turn quietly.. they had been chatting loudly, gossiping and so on.. the shop so big but very empty, i nothing to do so sian... took out my hp waiting for any single soul to msg me but my fone juz dun ring at all.. no choice, play my handphone's game, that "Reversi" aka "Opposite"... at first still ok lar, den slowly getting abit restless as i'm still very tired. tried to find some magazines to read but all past few months de see b4 liao den more sian, their conversation getting noisier and more irritating so i decided to go outside for a walk. saw a car turning in, to my surprise, the driver was actually letting her daughter drive the vehicle, the girl was only about 10 - 15 year old... she was sitting on her dad's lap and stiring the wheels, controlling the vehicle. i was quite amused and at the same time wondering why is that driver taking the risk. i went back to the "salon" after sometime, the aunty was still cutting her hair and gossiping, i went back to the same seat, took out my hp and play with it again. few 10 minutes later she's done with her hair, i tot it's my turn finally but my aunt went to take her lunch which i brought her from home. again, waited for her to finish patiently. b4 she finish the lunch, my 3rd aunt came in -_-" i dunno that she's coming today.. she told my 5th aunt (the one who cuts my hair) that she's in a hurry to go home, so obviously, she cut my queue.. waited for my turn once again and had all the process (walking ard, playing my hp games, going toilet etc) done repeatedly... wah, getting really tired already.. waited and waited till ard 4pm, i went to the toilet, the salon's door open again... Oh no... another customer... wadz the occasion? so many ppl trying to cut my queue today... waited for long, finally my 3rd aunt's done and obviously is that lady customer's turn... waited and waited and repeated those process.. if you wanna noe how sian i was, it's juz like how sian you are reading this post... lucky i've got some fresh air outside the shop, or else i would just suffocate inside the salon... waited till 5pm den it's really finally my turn... phew.. my hair was done at ard 6pm and reached home after 7pm... my whole afternoon's gone juz liddat...
P.S: i apologise if this is abit sian.. but tell me if u think tis is interesting, i'll tell u that u r weird.. lol

too engrossed in bloggin.. untill now still haven slp.. went to my archive, saw a lot of my past previous post, browsed through my whole com for some pictures and photos for my blog and went to some of my fren's blog. had a clearer concept of wadz frendship's all about... while scrolling for my pictures, i saw different faces of mine in each individual photo. it seems that my happy face appears more frequently in group photos like those taken on Karene's B'day, 19.09.04 TA02-03 class BBQ @ Pasir Ris, Siew Ling's B'day, the day b4 Siew Ling's B'day with Ailing and Weiping and so on.. i asked myself why issit so.. why does my face look so different in photos taken on different days? while browsing on fren's blog, saw this personal article of his talking about "True Frends".. Are frens just someone you know, go out with and talk to? or are they someone who is there to support you and listen to you when you are down and when you need them? this conversation was quoted from that blog:

The eleven basic colours have fundamental psychological properties that are universal, regardless of which particular shade, tone or tint of it you are using. Each of them has potentially positive or negative psychological effects and which of these effects is created depends on the relationships within colour combinations. There are four psychological primary colours - red, blue, yellow and green. They relate respectively to the body, the mind, the emotions and the essential balance between these three. The psychological properties of the eleven basic colours are as follows:
RED. Physical
Positive: Physical courage, strength, warmth, energy, basic survival, 'fight or flight', stimulation, masculinity, excitement.
Negative: Defiance, aggression, visual impact, strain.
Being the longest wavelength, red is a powerful colour. Although not technically the most visible, it has the property of appearing to be nearer than it is and therefore it grabs our attention first. Hence its effectiveness in traffic lights the world over. Its effect is physical; it stimulates us and raises the pulse rate, giving the impression that time is passing faster than it is. It relates to the masculine principle and can activate the "fight or flight" instinct. Red is strong, and very basic. Pure red is the simplest colour, with no subtlety. It is stimulating and lively, very friendly. At the same time, it can be perceived as demanding and aggressive.
BLUE. Intellectual.
Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm.
Negative: Coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.
Blue is the colour of the mind and is essentially soothing; it affects us mentally, rather than the physical reaction we have to red. Strong blues will stimulate clear thought and lighter, soft blues will calm the mind and aid concentration. Consequently it is serene and mentally calming. It is the colour of clear communication. Blue objects do not appear to be as close to us as red ones. Time and again in research, blue is the world's favourite colour. However, it can be perceived as cold, unemotional and unfriendly.
YELLOW. Emotional
Positive: Optimism, confidence, self-esteem, extraversion, emotional strength, friendliness, creativity.
Negative: Irrationality, fear, emotional fragility, depression, anxiety, suicide.
The yellow wavelength is relatively long and essentially stimulating. In this case the stimulus is emotional, therefore yellow is the strongest colour, psychologically. The right yellow will lift our spirits and our self-esteem; it is the colour of confidence and optimism. Too much of it, or the wrong tone in relation to the other tones in a colour scheme, can cause self-esteem to plummet, giving rise to fear and anxiety. Our "yellow streak" can surface.
GREEN. Balance
Positive: Harmony, balance, refreshment, universal love, rest, restoration, reassurance, environmental awareness, equilibrium, peace.
Negative: Boredom, stagnation, blandness, enervation.
Green strikes the eye in such a way as to require no adjustment whatever and is, therefore, restful. Being in the centre of the spectrum, it is the colour of balance - a more important concept than many people realise. When the world about us contains plenty of green, this indicates the presence of water, and little danger of famine, so we are reassured by green, on a primitive level. Negatively, it can indicate stagnation and, incorrectly used, will be perceived as being too bland.
VIOLET. Spiritual
Positive: Spiritual awareness, containment, vision, luxury, authenticity, truth, quality.
Negative: Introversion, decadence, suppression, inferiority.
The shortest wavelength is violet, often described as purple. It takes awareness to a higher level of thought, even into the realms of spiritual values. It is highly introvertive and encourages deep contemplation, or meditation. It has associations with royalty and usually communicates the finest possible quality. Being the last visible wavelength before the ultra-violet ray, it has associations with time and space and the cosmos. Excessive use of purple can bring about too much introspection and the wrong tone of it communicates something cheap and nasty, faster than any other colour.
ORANGE.
Positive: Physical comfort, food, warmth, security, sensuality, passion, abundance, fun.
Negative: Deprivation, frustration, frivolity, immaturity.
Since it is a combination of red and yellow, orange is stimulating and reaction to it is a combination of the physical and the emotional. It focuses our minds on issues of physical comfort - food, warmth, shelter etc. - and sensuality. It is a 'fun' colour. Negatively, it might focus on the exact opposite - deprivation. This is particularly likely when warm orange is used with black. Equally, too much orange suggests frivolity and a lack of serious intellectual values.
PINK.
Positive: Physical tranquillity, nurture, warmth, femininity, love, sexuality, survival of the species.
Negative: Inhibition, emotional claustrophobia, emasculation, physical weakness.
Being a tint of red, pink also affects us physically, but it soothes, rather than stimulates. (Interestingly, red is the only colour that has an entirely separate name for its tints. Tints of blue, green, yellow, etc. are simply called light blue, light green…etc.) Pink is a powerful colour, psychologically. It represents the feminine principle, and survival of the species; it is nurturing and physically soothing. Too much pink is physically draining and can be somewhat emasculating.
GREY.
Positive: Psychological neutrality.
Negative: Lack of confidence, dampness, depression, hibernation, lack of energy.
Pure grey is the only colour that has no direct psychological properties. It is, however, quite suppressive. A virtual absence of colour is depressing and when the world turns grey we are instinctively conditioned to draw in and prepare for hibernation. Unless the precise tone is right, grey has a dampening effect on other colours used with it. Heavy use of grey usually indicates a lack of confidence and fear of exposure.
BLACK.
Positive: Sophistication, glamour, security, emotional safety, efficiency, substance.
Negative: Oppression, coldness, menace, heaviness.
Black is all colours, totally absorbed. The psychological implications of that are considerable. It creates protective barriers, as it absorbs all the energy coming towards you, and it enshrouds the personality. Positively, it communicates absolute clarity, with no fine nuances. It works particularly well with white. It communicates sophistication and uncompromising excellence. It creates a perception of weight and seriousness (it is a myth that black clothes are slimming). Black is essentially an absence of light, since no wavelengths are reflected and it can, therefore be menacing; many people are afraid of the dark.
WHITE.
Positive: Hygiene, sterility, clarity, purity, cleanness, simplicity, sophistication, efficiency.
Negative: Sterility, coldness, barriers, unfriendliness, elitism.
Just as black is total absorption, so white is total reflection. In effect, it reflects the full force of the spectrum into our eyes. Thus it also creates barriers, but differently from black, and it is often a strain to look at. It communicates, "Touch me not!" White is purity and, like black, uncompromising; it is clean, hygienic, and sterile. The concept of sterility can also be negative. Visually, white gives a heightened perception of space. The negative effect of white on warm colours is to make them look and feel garish.
BROWN.
Positive: Seriousness, warmth, Nature, earthiness, reliability, support.
Negative: Lack of humour, heaviness, lack of sophistication.
Brown usually consists of red and yellow, with a large percentage of black. Consequently, it has much of the same seriousness as black, but is warmer and softer. It has elements of the red and yellow properties. Brown has associations with the earth and the natural world. It is a solid, reliable colour and most people find it quietly supportive - more positively than the ever-popular black, which is suppressive, rather than supportive.

11/12/04 - Jungiery!!
Hoi Hoi Hoi!!!! today really damn... erm... dunno how to sae lar... Morning 10am liddat wake up (usually woke up @ 2pm+) go Tanjong Pagar get the Jungiery concert tix from my fren's (zhen xing) landlord, i took more then half an hour to look for the person's shop, (he opened a bridal shop, i heard from zx that he helps 5566 take photo, and that's why he can get us the Jungiery Concert tix @ $30 each.) i went omoz North, South, East and West of the exitS of the MRT station, noticed that i put "S" behind the word exit. there are 3 exits and quite far apart actually. the address i got from zx wasn't clear enuf and went asking the residents where is blk 30, to my suprise, all of them told me that the max number of blks in Tanjong Pager is 9. Strange eh? after that half an hour, drops of rain started falling from the dark sky... no choice, i gave his landlord a call and he drove his Merz to fetch me to his shop from the MRT station. eh, Merz 6 windows leh, can imagine how rich he is? the bridal shop oso very Magnificent, no wonder 5566 get him to take photos for them, lol... half way through, receive call from wei ping ask me go help her get shampoo and towel cos she guinea pig let the pacesettle experiment with her hair come out dunno like wad... rain so big still alight halfway go Tiong Bahru search all the Guardian, NTUC and $Value shop den found her towel, still complain sae very hungry, i oso very hugry lar, so go breadtalk by flosss go back sch makan. after tt went home and reach at abt 2.45pm, eat lunch den an hour +++ later eat dinner again, OMG!! cos i meeting AL at Redhill MRT @ 5.45pm. on the way home when walking along the road kena splash, a car drove pass a poodle of collected rain water... -_-" wet from body all the way to toe... bo bian, tt set of clothes gotta change... after "dinner" go meet AL... then it was like... hide-n-seek? we actually arrange to meet each other at Redhill MRT platform, since i reach liao n she was in the train, i suggested meeting at the rear of the train. i got in, but nv c her and the train is so crowded, how to find each other liddat? so i alighted and she was still on the train.. diao.. how? i call her ask her to wait for me at Tiong Bahru MRT platform, i took another train, reach the station alight, she tot i at rear den took tt train.. diao again.. call her, ask her to meet at Outram MRT PLATFORM!!! den only we met each other.. lol!!!! crappy or creepy? wahahahaha... reach the EXPO liao saw many ppl, mozly gals, (coz guys go to Jolin concert liao, lol..) all bought glowing stick and brought their posters and wadever, i tot the concert gotta be high for sure, hu knows starting all sian sian wan.. the performance din meet my expectation, lol... finally den 5566 come out! God! this time is the peak of the whole performance, everyone started screaming and shouting, hahaha!! Overall rating is Average. concert ended at 11.30pm, wah.. got train no bus... gotta walk home from Redhill... half way liao den saw my bus 145 pass by, i was at the opposite side den somemore in between the road got fence around wan to chase bus oso cannot.. den really bo bian liao really walk home.. feel hungry took out mum's fried rice eat.. wah.. too full can't slp den come on9 surf net and write blog.. lol... found out tt our seat was tt cheapest $58 most back seat, no wonder so far away.. kena cheated, zx told me is infront seat, tt landlord told me is middle seat, go there dunno wad happen become behind seat -_-"... now is 3.33AM exactly 1 hour later of my "dinner".. digested liao.. finally can slp.. hahahha :D gd nitez pals.. take care ;) and once again, hope ya enjoy my blog :)

What Do I Think About PBL in RP?
It's about 9 months I am in Republic Poly already. This PLB thingy, I guess more or less I am getting used to it, however, I still think that a lot of people either think it's useless or still do not know how to learn in PBL. I can't say I understand fully or perfectly, but I think I am able to learn slightly better then some others.
Someone said I could do better in VB compared with other because I am talented in it, but do you know how much effort I had put in? Do you know much time I had prepared for it? I took at least 15 hours in 1 day - a complete day without watching TV, chatting in msn, sleeping etc - to complete a new application. This includes referring to past applications codes, browsing through internet for resources and definitely the unlimited of checking of Encarta. You call this talented? Listen carefully! This is pure hard work! I would say that it is the interest that motivates me and also I put in effort and ask for perfection in things that I’m interested in. I know not everyone has got interest in VB or any modules that you study, but is that a valid reason for you to slack? Or what’s your definition of “putting effort”?

In my opinion, this person is still not doing his/her best. In fact the grades are dropping compared to last semester. If somehow you wonder why the facilitator kept giving you a C grade but not A, think again... If you put in effort, did you ever show it to the facilitator? Or do you just keep it to yourself?
In my opinion, this is a guild of how grades are given:
1. the quantity of participation in class (includes comments given in 1st, 2nd and 3rd meeting)... make sure you don’t comment to yourself, let the facilitator hear what you say.
2. give constructive critiques in team discussion and presentation, this reflects how much you understand. (If you think it’s reasonable, give it!)
3. say as much things you understood during the research, of cause it have to be useful to understanding and reflects to what you had learnt. (what you think is obvious, might not be noticeable to others.)
4. when doing evaluation, do it honestly, the facilitator is not blind. As for RJ, give original contents and ideas. Copied ideas only reflects your nonchalant attitude in learning, not just reflects to facilitator, but to everyone.
I don’t know if anyone felt the same as I think, I know in school I’m kind of cold towards you guys sometimes and a bit hot temper nowadays and I’m like not helping you all, it’s because I’m hoping to do a good PowerPoint slide for presentation which would give everyone a better understanding of what we are to learn, how else do you think you can learn in PBL? I’m not selfish that I don’t want to let you guys know what I’m trying to do or tell you all what I understand during researching, just that there is time constrain and if I explain things 1 by 1, there won’t be enough time to do a good PowerPoint. Can’t you see that I am always rushing for my slides? If I’m selfish, I won’t even volunteer to teach VB at all...
If anyone wonder why do I post such article, I’m not trying to prove how good am I, I’m just trying to help... This is just how I felt, I wanted to tell you people, but can’t put them into words... therefore I typed it out...
Some tips on how you could understand what you are suppose to do better:
1. reduce the time on MSN and lunch hours
2. do not give up easily even if you think you can’t find the right information, just read anything related, you never know, it might be what you will be presenting.
3. if you think anything is right, just go ahead and do it.
4. try to brainstorm on what might be related to the topic and die die go and read!
5. in the 1st place, think of why you are given that type of problem... there is a reason for the presence in everything.

.. lolx!! she started sending to everyone via bluetooth!! i was like.. oh gosh... 
haha!! den everyone started laughing and showing it ard... the dinner was sumptious, lotsa good food ^^ spent mos of our time cuddling on the bed in ai gu's (1st aunt) room.. haha.. ya, tt's the "HQ" for us as we only gather there everytime since our parents, aunties, uncles were in the living room.. ai gu came back from work at ard 9 to 10pm liddat and saw us on her bed, no where to slp then went to my Grandma's bed and took a rest.. tnx to us, her bed was in a mess.. oops.. oh ya.. there was a funny incident though... my young, little and cute cousin (5yrs old) kept "pestering" with jacq and somehow but dunno how broke her bra strap and she was so embaressed. haha!! stayed there till 10.30pm den go home... argg.. missed out "kung fu soccer"..
