壁虎山莊 ™ Geckos' Lair

Today once again went to search for job.. this time location is Orchard. Actually I’m supposed to meet SL and Von at Orchard MRT station @ 2pm but then ZX ask me to help him sign up for a hp line @ Starhub coz Singaporean no need to pay for the $200 deposit and he does not have that amount of money to spare, so I met him at Centre Point then proceed to the Starhub located there. I found out from the assistant that I’ll be held responsible if anything happens. No choice, I can’t help... den after that SL and Von come find me at Centre Point, went around the whole shopping centre, there isn’t even 1 notice seeking for part-timers.. den cross the road to John Little Specialist Shopping Centre, even worst! the shops there machiam whack mosquito wan... some shops hardly even 1 single customer visible, wondering how they can continue opening the shop.. around 3.45pm Von left us go back school for CCA while SL and me continue walking around... we went to Heeren, Wheelock place, Far East Plaza and Pacific... Tower or Plaza.. not sure, found some hope but in the end still gone.. Heeren a lot of shops but all selling mostly female stuff, obviously looking for female sales assistance only.. SL got it, not me.. went to Far East, also a lot of shops catering female stuff but all looking for age above 18, wahahaha both me and SL no hope. Not to mention Pacific and Wheelock.. totally hopeless... SL gave up liao, haha!! She went home... it was 5 or 6pm+ so I went strolling around Orchard, from Tangs walk to Paragon and then to PS and went home at around 7pm+. PS got more hope, saw a lot of notices looking for part-timers like Long John Silvers and KFC, but inside dunno cram like what so I gave up the idea :( .. I would say PS has the most customers or passer-by compared to other shops around Orchard. Must be the ageing population’s fault! LOL!!! Centre Point got Power Puff Girls performance and PS got Thomas and Friends’ performance (the blue colour train with a face -pic shown above - from Kid’s Central several years ago). It’s for the Christmas promotion, I guess.. I once sat inside those fences too when I was young whenever there were performances in shopping centres.. missing those days.. ok, back to the topic, I was kinda curious how they act as the train, there can’t be any suit or costumes right? But anyway, my stomach was groaning, I went home before the train comes out.. today saw some stars from Mediacorp.. hee hee.. SL and Von saw Guo Liang from Mediaworks... oh ya, my cousin – Rose – met me.. (not I met my cousin.. lolx) I guess I pa jiao never see her and she call me I oso din here it... lolx.. it was until I left Pacific (the place we met) then I received her sms.. haha!! Why today so “liddat” wan? wadz the occasion again? Whole day not really wasted lar, although can’t find any job but still went out with friends and I definitely spent the day much better compared to rotting at home.. the Christmas Carols played in all shopping centres were great! Christmas is drawing nearer :D juz that the decorations now-a-days can’t hold a candle to the past... I missed those lights, sculptures and many many more...
