So how exactly did Marcus and myself meet? I don't think I've ever mentioned it on here...We met online.Is everyone gasping with shock? Well, it's a long story really...when I was in high school...I'm talking quite a few years ago...maybe seven or eight years ago...I would've been in Year 10 or Year 11 back then...chat rooms were the big thing. It seemed like everyone around me knew about chat rooms and chatting online...it was such a new thing and most kids were hooked on it. I'm usually the sort of person who'd go with the flow...you know, if ugg boots were the in thing, I'd have one...if polka dot skirts were the in thing, I'd have one...if clutch bags were the in thing, I'd have TEN! You get my drift...so yeah, chatting in chat rooms was the in thing when I was in high school, so I got sucked in. I cannot for the life of me remember which chat room it was or when exactly it was that I met Marcus...I cannot even remember my online name at the time. All I know was that I was in Year 11 and he was in Year 12. We met online, had things in common and got chatting. It was never anything serious. We would have each other on ICQ or MSN...and if the other happened to be online at the same time, we'd have a regular chat. We never planned ahead to meet up online to chat or anything like that. This happened for like 4 years. We were in and out of each others lives for 4 years...we'd see each other online, catch up with the latest goss in our lives...like school, uni, family, love life...and then we wouldn't see each other online until weeks or months later and we'd catch up again...it was a cycle. During those four years, we'd both had relationships of our own...none of which were serious ones. After 2 years and 4 months being together...I love how we still don't see each other every single day...I love how we are comfortable with not needing to see each other everyday...I love how I still get so excited knowing that I will be seeing him that night...I love how we have silly little fights and we never take long to make up... hey ppl, do you really noe what understanding is? be it understanding a person, an object, or even things that happens in your daily life and things that you are learning in school... when u said you understand them... do you really do?
so.. what the F*** does understanding actually means? or wth issit about?
from my personal opinion, i think that understanding something is not just knowing it, but also knowing about about the how and why...
we human beings usually got the wrong concept and got mixed up between "knowing" and "understanding".. at least that's what i think, as i had only found out about the difference (or rather noticed it) recently.
from the converstation right above, do you think the 1st speaker really understand the gal (2nd speaker) well?
what i wanna sae is tt.. yes, this guy knows the gal well. but that does not means he understood her well too...
he knows that the gal would be happy to be by his side, but why?
the gal likes chocolate ice cream, but so?

UPDATE!!
Today went to farm trip, one of the SAS CE activity. we went to the 1 and only goat farm in Singapore - Hay Dairies. followed by a kampong type fruit farm next to the goat farm. then next location was aeroponics farm situated in Sembawang.
9.00am - took off from sch
we were suppose to write a profile about the farm looking into how the technologise has improve the farm process and increasing the farm's output, so on the way in bus, i borrowed the pad of foolscape paper and started doing a GIT - tt was 1 of my profession. LOLz!! the senery outside was great, we happened to pass by a broad piece of land on the way and i thought it would be great to go there 1 day... i had this short conversation with Glend - he was sitting beside me.
Me: eh bro, the senery outside not bad.. feel like coming here 1 day..
Glend: ya...
Me: fresh air... broad space.. clear sky...
*Few seconds later... we saw tombstone...*
Glend: eh bro! this is cemetry lar!

9.45am to 11.00am - Hay Dairies Goat Farm
things learnt of the day:
- meat of sheep are called mutton and meat of goat are called chevon.
- cow got 4 breast (teats)but goat got 2 breast like human. cow can produce 20++ litres of milk per day while goat only produce 3 - 4 litres of milk, still a lot more then a 2 breast human (ok.. i was lame -_-").
- goats are able to produce milk for 8mths after birth and their gestation period (pregnancy) is 5mths with an avereage of 2 babies per go.
- adult goat are like deer and young goat are like human since female goat are called doe and young goat are called kid. (anyway they belongs to the deer family rather then the sheep or human)
- goat's life span s ard 12 - 15 years but they are only milked for 10 years in the farm, after 10 years they would be sold to NUS for experiment :S
- udder (breats) is being molested before milking to test for the best quality of milk, goats that are not sexually excited would produce yogurt instead.
- milk are sold to residents as home deliveries or directly to visitors of farm while shit are sold to farm to fertile soil. (Disclaimer: shit and milk are sold seperatly)
- the farm rear 1000 flirtatious goats (they are all mixed breed)
- horns of the goats are being ironed off to keep their horny level low
- IC number are tattooed on their ears so the goats could reconginse themself immediatly when the sound wave scan through their ears.
okok.. lets get serious.. Goat milk are highly used by people who are allergic to cow's milk and are highly nutritious and digestable, recommanded for babies as it is ranked 2nd best milk after human milk.

11.15am to 12.15pm - Abiu Fruit Farm
Abiu fruit farm is a very kampong type farm, instead of growing all crops on the groud, they uses flower pots too. saw many types of fruits being grown, for example the red dragon fruit and cocoa. i found out that there were quite a few household, lesser then 4 if i'm right. we tried out some spice leaf and herbs and the taste was like.. yucky.. :S
out of the few families, we only visited 1. i wondered how did the farmers get their food from other then their own crops as the farm was very far away from the "city". 1 more thing is that how did they get their furnitures? they lead a simple life and thier houses was simple with not much stuff. they have a young a son, i wa curious if he felt any different compared to the other kids in school. there wasn't television, computers and not to say xbox or playstation. what are his hobbies and interest? what he did during his leisure? hmm..
those houses were old, torn and small. perphas the occassional rain would juz easily flow into the rooms. how did they overcome such problems? i would like to try out such lifestyle. the amiable host treated us with some cooling tea and fruits they grew that was rarely or totally not seen in the market as such fruits which is high in iron will gone bad easily and not able to attract much customers. suddenly, i realized that the fruits in the market are not the only edible fruits.
got ants over my body and got bitten, which causes me to itch all over.. -_-" doesn't the farmers get irritated to it? they muz have been used to it...
got myself tanned in the hot sun and had a slight sunburnt on my back.
12.45pm to 1.30pm - Aeroponics Farm
our next location was the Aeroponics farm in Sembawang. it's very different from the type of hi-tech farm i expected. it was rather hot and open space. what i previously tot was like those in my geography text book, those very air-conditioned area. there were different types of hydroponics farming like water culture and aggregate culture.
for ppl hu grow plants, try getting the macro-elements or micro-elements for the essential nutrients.
Macro-elements:
- C, H, O, N, P, K, Ca, S, Mg
Micro-elements:
- Fe, Cl, Mn, B, Zn, Cu, Mo
at the end of the day we was "forced" to eat some hydroponics herbs and it makes out toungue numb, the taste is weird as well :S
b4 we left, we were brought to a very very "old" shop which sells the farms products. tt place really.. ermm.. ermm.. nth to say ar.. it sells those toys like teddy bears omoz covered with dust as well as the toys we played when we were 3 - 5 years old? i was like.. omg.. -_-"
we brought home 2 packets of hydro-veggie each, heez..

Update!!
once again.. i'm using "today" instead.. yesh.. "today" ish tuesday, our enterprise day.. and "tomorow" ish VB day!! this week's vb seems easy and so we (sl, glen and me) tot of shooting someone how doesn't deserve an 'A' all the time.. sometimes a 'B' even seems to be too much for him/her. we had tried the best to prepare ourself and make sure we understood as much as we could. hu knows, our plan was backfired the next day.. -_-"
we stayed after sch "today" doing our vb and well.. we dewlled in sch till ard 9pm if i'm not wrong.. lolx.. the feeling is great! glen suggested eating Mac and since my mum din cook at home, we went to Tangling Mall at 9.30pm for our dinner.. lolx..
siew ling and glen finished their rj while i was doing vb so i took out my lappy and did ma RJ at Mac. as it was late, the shops were closed and we hardly see anyone around. there was some kind of roadshow selling toys and the stuff were left unattended, not even locked.. juz being covered, tt's all and tt's it. anyone who passes by could just easily shoplift actually.
