称呼

称呼

称呼 是“叫”人的惟一方式。
一个“喂！”，一声“小姐”，一声“Brother”，都是称呼。

正确的称呼是一种礼貌。
滑稽的称呼是一种友善。
难听的称呼是一种侮辱。
（看似侮辱别人，其实侮辱自己。）
何谓正确的称呼？
真确的称呼就是你平时会用在一般人身上的。

东方与西方都有不同的称呼。
但是，西方的就没那么复杂。
什么堂哥、表妹，到了红毛国家就剪称 Cousins.
大姨妈、二姑丈、三舅舅，一切变成一声 Uncle 或 Aunty.

以上所说的都挺有趣，对吧？

可是更有趣的是，称呼，偶尔也会有矛盾。
怎么说？

你称呼长辈，是看对方年龄，还是看你和他岁数的差距？
通常大家都是以其中之一做为标准。
但是，这标准，真的准吗？

岁数差距？
假设1：
年级比你大20岁的长辈你会怎么正确称呼他？
年级比你小20岁的晚辈又会怎么正确称呼你？
（不是滑稽的称呼哦！）

打个比方，你今年22岁。。。
看见42岁的伯伯 你会叫他 "Brother!" 还是 "Uncle"？
（我肯定你选 "Uncle"！）
那一个2岁的小瓜，他又会叫你 “哥哥/姐姐” 还是 "Auntie / Uncle"？
（应该不会是 "Auntie / Uncle" 吧？

岁数差距为标准

对方年龄为标准如何？
假设2：
50岁伯伯应该叫 "Uncle" 了吧？
那如果你也是50岁呢？也叫他 Uncle?
不会把。。。

    wahaha，有鸡先，还是有蛋先？u must be another 吃仙(吃先）one！it is 先有鸡，还是先有蛋啦！u dun think 有鸡先，还是有蛋先 sounds very very weird meh? even 吃先 also don't sound as weird.

    anyway, interesting entry. never gave so much thought about how i should 称呼 others. but i dun think many people would think of 年龄差距吧？ most people probably think of that person's 年龄 i.e. lil kid= 小妹/ 小弟；young people= 小姐/ 先生；middle age= auntie/ uncle; old people= 婆婆/ 阿伯. but u were quite right to point out that it's not very accurate to go by the person's age too. but, i think it's common sense that what you call someone is based on both that person's AND your age. usually, if both of u are of the same age, you wouldn't even bother to use polite 称呼 right (unless you are doing that for your work when you should be using sir/Mr/Miss/Mam'/ 先生/小姐）？ i hear my dad calling other uncles "brother" if he knows them very/ fairly well. if my dad don't know them well, he'll just use 先生.

    LoL~ Syl, this entry was suppose to be something juz for fun. hahaha~~
    cos i was wondering this when i look at the BB my mum is taking care of.

    she's suppose to call me "kor kor", rite? but i'm like 18yrs older then her, but becos i'm only 19, i CAN'T BE AN UNCLE!
    budden again.. 19 yrs later when she's 20, i'm like almost 40 liao. then.. SHE SHOULD CHANGE THE WAY SHE 称呼 ME! (and call me uncle -.-")
