“Haallo！请问你要上几楼？”
会不会觉得那句话很熟悉？
好像什么时候曾说过？
或是听人说过？
嗯！搭电梯的时候嘛。
壁虎居住的组屋高12层楼。
由于电梯是旧式的，所以只在某层楼才会开门。
分别是，底层、第6层、第10层。
壁虎住第5楼。
虽然说壁虎是挺喜欢走路的，可是一走到家楼下就什么都不想做了。
5层楼？哪怕3层楼我也懒得去爬呀！
只想快点搭到电梯回家休息，睡觉！
入正题了，如果你先进电梯，然后后面接着有人进来，你会怎么做？
问旁边的人上几楼接着顺便帮他按钮？
只按自己的，人家的按钮人家自己按？
一声不吭，直接每层楼都按！？
壁虎金口不开。
又或许壁虎的嘴巴在沉睡中，不会突然间打开来说话。
可是心却是清醒，而有如熊熊烈火一般的热！
若有人进电梯，二话不说壁虎直接把6楼和10楼的电梯按钮都按了。
如果 uncle 上6楼，没关系，电梯上十楼不会影响他。
如果 auntie 上10楼，好咯，她最多以为我能 read minds.
况且这里的人好像都不出门的，电梯很少会有人用。
就算壁虎恶作剧在电梯里按了6楼按10楼，按了10楼再按回6楼接着回底楼，
我想。。不会有人来 complain 的。。
我想无聊到极点的时候还可以去玩玩电梯！
可是。。
我的金口不想一直沉睡下去。。
不知道的人还以为我“刀”。。
而且。。
翻新后的电梯会在每层楼把门打开，怎么办？
不会要壁虎从2楼按到12楼吧？
进去是人头，出来被揍到像猪头！
是时候要找个人说说话了！
但为什么这正座组屋就是没有漂亮的美眉搭电梯！？！

况且壁虎住的这座历史悠久的危楼，我想，是不会有美眉落脚的。

壁虎太 considerate 了！这种 issue 都会在乎到写成 blog entry！如果是我，电梯翻新后，如果有其他人在我之后进电梯，我会让他们自己按按钮，don't even need to think! Hmmm... I'm not inconsiderate ba~
当有陌生人跟我一起达电梯而我是第一个走进电梯的，我只会 hold down the 'door open' button until everyone enters the lift after which I'll press the button for the level that I want to go to, then back off from the row of buttons so others can press their own buttons.
Actually I think I quite considerate already cuz a lot of times when I hold the 'door open' button for others, I don't have the time to press my own button first. Those people who walk in immediately after me would say 'thank you' then immediately press their own buttons. I very suay, always either stay on ground floor or lvl 1/2/3. Imagine what happens when everyone press buttons for lvls such as 16, 27 etc then I press my button... obvious right? I end up being transported all the way up then have to wait for the lift to come all the way down to my level. If there's only one other person with me in the lift is still not so bad. When there are like 2 or more people going to different lvls higher than lvl 5, I always end up coming out of the lift with a grumpy face... Sometimes (very rarely) there are some nice people who realise I miss my lvl & would exclaim "Oh no, you missed your level?!" Haiz, like I dunno like that. But, what can they do right? I just smile & say that always happens but inside me I'm cursing myself for being stupid. Why I don't press my own button first before I hold the door open for others? Cuz, my movements very slow & some lift doors very fast & some people also walk a bit slow so a lot of times when I used to do that, the lift door starts closing just before the next person behind me can walk in. I don't want to giap people! Some very inconsiderate people will shoot me the hostile look somemore when that happens... they think I never hold the door for them. So, end up I always end up loosing out just because I want to be nice...
But, I think I'm not considerate enough. I never thought of asking others what level they want to go to. Neither have I ever thought of helping them press without asking them. I think I'm basically considerate but I live in my own world, 不会为他人着想太多... I just press my own button, other people can press their own ones. But, again, I don't block the buttons lor. Everytime after I press my button I will move away, unless no one else still needs to press. I hate people who press their buttons yet still want to stand very near the buttons & don't ask other people which level they are going to.
Actually, not that I ever thought of asking others what lvl they want to go to, but I find to do something like that very ackward. Maybe I'm just weird, it's not just because I 金口难开, cuz when other people ask me which lvl I want to go to I rarely tell them & let them press for me... most of the time is I press the button myself & say "thank you". I dunno why I act this way but it's automatic. Just think it's very weird to make someone else press the button for me.
As for your case, please dun go and press every single button after the lift is being renovated. I think if u want to continue to be a very good boy, then no choice, just have to force ur mouth open & ask pple which lvl they going to, or else u'll be more of a nusience then being considerate! But if I were you, I won't even bother to ask. Anyway, I realized most people also dun ask. That's y I'm actually surprised that this little thing can actually make u ponder over it... you too considerate la~
Edit:: After thinking for a while, I think I'm more considerate... cuz I can ta han missing my lvl & go all the way up & still smile & other people! Even if I'm grumpy I won't show it on my face or make any moise. But, think I'm just stupid la... 本好人一个？ & of course, because u seem to be always actively seeking for 美眉 so... minus points... 最讨厌你这种男生了！wahaha... ok actually is becuz I'm not 美眉 then I angry. Shhhh...

有一点我 confirm 比你好，不管我是不是第一个进电梯的，我都会 hold down "door open" button!!!!

下次进电梯， plz realize that you have 2 hands and you can hold the button with 1 hand and actually press ur level's button with the other!

下次要更有礼貌，先让每个人进电梯后自己在进去。
反正先进去要等，后进去也要等。
电梯外也是有 button 让你 hold the lift 的！
这样可能会有更多人谢你好心帮他们按电梯后才进去。

往往很难找到一个100% considerate 的人。。
只要觉得自己还有那么一点点 considerate 就行了。
就算一个只剩1% of consideration 的人也是不会坏到哪儿去的！

i din ponder much actually, but since my lift only got 2 buttons and i die die will make sure that i will get out at the 2nd level, then no harm pressing all the buttons.

hey hey i also realized i left a super long comment, just talking about lifts! too bad, i feel like procrastinating now that's y. then ended up typing a long post on my own blog...
i also thought of the best is to let everyone enter the lift first. that's the most considerate way! but then everytime i will forget. & everytime if i'm alone waiting for the lift first i would stand very near the lift door, so when it opens automatically i will straight away go in first. if i dun & help others press the button outside, like very weird leh...
& i wonder if u experienced before sometimes when u press the button outside, the lift door instead closes then u have to quickly press a few times before it realizes someone is trying to stop it from closing? i realized that the best way is to put ur hand in between the doors. but i always very scared get giap! i not so wei da la go sacrifise my hand, although i know the possibility of it getting giap is very low.
in fact, whenever when i'm the last one to enter the lift & the lift door tries to close as i'm about to step into the lift (because some inconsiderate people never hole the 'door open' button but i dun blame them & i never rush for a closing lift one hor... so unglam... everytime this happens is when pple never hold the button even though they see me behind)i'll jerk back, looking very scared & acting like some 千金小姐/林黛玉 & see the door close in front of me. Normal people's reaction is use the hands/ elbows to block right? then quickly go in right? dunno why i so funny. But then most of the time when this happens, the people inside the lift will have two types of reactions: The men (erhm sorry no guys/ boys so far did this)--- use one of their hands to block the door. The females (regardless of age)--- quickly press the 'door open' button. When a man uses his hand to block the door for me I feel like I wanna 嫁给他. wahaha i'm just being 夸张啦. But, I really would think better of them then females who just quickly hold down the 'door open' button. Because they were supposed to hold it down lor but they didn't but at least the men will sacrifise their hand... so 补回来了吧...
as to why i dun use two hands to hold the 'door open' button & press my button at the same time: 1) my other hand is usually holding something, like bags; 2) sometimes i just dun fast enough; 3)i hardly take lifts in SIngapore, I always take escalator & I only have to take lifts here... here I need to use one of my hands to scan my access card and the other to quickly press the button or else i'm going to miss my lvl, so no hand liao wor...
i know u never ponder much lah... like when i blog about me setting off the fire alarm accidentally is not the result of me pondering too much abt the incident too. but take lift this kind of thing so small & u will think of bloggin about it & think what u should do after the lift is renovated, i think shows that u r quite considerate ba.

eh, i got 同感 when u say u smile but it looks very fake... not that i say ur smile is fake la but that i experience the same thing & i also suspect pple stay away from me because i'm, or rather, looks "刀". how ah? but i think i'm worse than u cuz i hardly smile... nothing for me to smile what?! unless i 自恋 & posing for camera la! but sometimes i also know die die also must smile, like when u say thank you or when someone tried to strike up a conversation with you. but then i suspect my smile looks fake, cuz strictly speaking, it's fake what... 我又不是发自内心笑 but is because i have to 笑. so 少笑的我 surely look very fake when i do that.

next time u can try to stay clear of the lift's door, s'pore mrt oso got tell ppl to stay away from the door and let passenger alight 1st.
this way, u got the "excuse" to stand near the hold-lift button.
then after that, 顺其自然 hold down the lift and let the ppl come out, then, allow ppl outside to get in.. guess u would feel less awkward this way.
but rite now u are staying on the ground floor.. so.. u dun get much chance to get use of this brand new experiance, lar.
i dun have such unexplained incident b4..
i always hope the lift can breakdown all of a sudden be it i'm in it or waiting for it.
but it never happens..

i got quite high confindence with our Gahmen, they wun wish to see giapped hands reported on news wan.
sometimes i alone in the lift i can even bo liao untill when the lift is almost closed, i'll stuck out my hands inbetween the 2 doors all of a sudden.
i oso dun rush for closing lift.

al, my lift only got 2 levels to open door excluding ground floor leh, so like you said, it's ok. but to be precise, i think it's VERY considerate!
if lift stop at 6th storey, then both 10th level and 1st level have to wait equally long, therefor, FAIR!
if lift stop at 10th stroey, 天经地义，only 10th storey unresonable to walk down all the way to lvl 1, therefore, FAIR!
if lift stop at 1st sorey, 顺理成章，that's the only level with most ppl accessing it, therefore, ALSO FAIR!
so i dun see a problem here... muahahaha!!
why u think 老阿嬷 and 老阿公 will press every storey? 老人痴呆，or 吃饱没事干？
i only 做好事，not 缺德事。
i dun have to worry ppl have to wait for the bo liao door to close, why?
cos at the 6th storey, i.e. the 1st level the lift will open, and I'M OFF! (so it means that the door 为我而开)
and at the 10th storey, i.e. the 2nd level the lift, and also the last level the lift can go, if somebody's in the lift, his turn to get out! (and it means that the door 为别人而开)
so again, nth's wrong.
